CALLING ALL MISSOURI K-9 Teachers The Missouri Minerals Education Foundation invites you to participate in the 14th annual "Missouri Is A State Of Mines -- Rocks, Minerals And Our Environment" workshop that is being held July 14th-19th, 2013 at William Jewel College, Liberty, Missouri. This FREE workshop provides information, ideas, materials and classroom activities involving geology, minerals, mining, and the wise use of our natural resources which participants can begin immediately using in the classroom. Activities include demonstrations, exhibits and tours. Daily lunches will be provided along with plenty of hospitality, entertainment and time to interact with fellow teachers. To view the brochure about the workshop, please click here. The Workshop is open to all K - 9 teachers and administrators who live or teach in Missouri and is limited to 60 participants. Participants may elect to receive two undergraduate credits, two graduate credits or ten CEU's/PDU's. REGISTER NOW!!! CLICK HERE FOR REGISTRATION INFORMATION!!! Workshop attendees will walk away excited and energized about teaching rocks, minerals and the environment.
